How do we respond to God in prayer?
We seek Him. He is interested in the person behind the mask, the real you, not your representative.
Next, we present ourselves to God in that truth, in that honesty.
Third, we allow ourselves to be known by God.
Finally, in truth, in presence, in gazing, we receive. We receive our identity from our creator.
