Here’s the roadmap for our time today, as we set up our Sabbath series…
1. We will read God’s fourth command, and imagine ourselves as its first hearers,
2. Then we will travel back to Genesis 1 and 2, where Sabbath was created,
3. And finally, we will land in Exodus 33, where God reaffirms His commitment to His people.
As we practice Sabbath, what better place to rest and marvel at the glory of God than at the feet of our Rabbi, our Savior, Jesus, the LORD of Sabbath?
