BIG IDEA: We must strive to be wise, tenderhearted, and forgiving.
At some point, someone glibly asked Jesus “Who is my neighbor”, and He replied with a parable about a Good Samaritan in Luke 10:29-37.
Meeting basic needs shouldn’t be about whether someone loves Jesus, nor should help be used as a carrot to force folks to hear a religious presentation.
Furthermore, service and evangelism aren’t just a one-time encounter.
