BIG IDEA: Christians must resist comparing and competing

It’s important to Jesus that we deal with anything that can spoil the church’s health, unity, and mission.

Jesus seemed to have a zero-tolerance policy for believers throwing shade on other believers, yet somehow this sinful spirit is alive and well...even in His church.

It’s natural for Christians to debate biblical concepts written to cultures we don’t quite understand, yet we must wisely express disagreements in God-honoring ways.

In times of [spiritual] war, don’t we need more allies than enemies?

How do you compare and compete? In what ways does worry about what others have, are doing, or are not doing keep you from being content, knowing Jesus, and using your gifts to bless others? Like Peter, we’ll struggle to enjoy the story God wrote for us if we fixate on the story God wrote for others.
