BIG IDEA: Those sealed by God will be preserved by God.
Revelation, thus, brings all these historic images together (e.g., the Passover meal, the souls under the altar, The Lord’s Supper) and compels us to draw near God’s throne, table, altar, or whatever to join the heavenly celebration of the Lamb’s victory described in chapters 5 and 7. Regularly doing this reminds us that no matter how dark and painful life gets, those sealed by God will be preserved by God.
