Evil isn’t some plague oozing from an avoidable earthly pit--it lurks within us, it tricks us into loving it, and it’s fueled by organized demonic influences. Sinfulness brings self-deception and self-destruction, and sometimes, God judges by allowing evil forces to turn on their own followers.
